3 scoops of icecream plus waffles with kris at gelare on tuesday was wonderrrrful. haha, and it was only for tea. what pigs, tsk. i hope james doesnt see this. no coke & chocolate, but icecream should be fine... right?
anyway the planning for the party went well (no screwups!) though the decorations looked too little because we didnt expect the function room to be that huuuuuge. a big thankyou to all those who came, and made tuesday such a memorable night! i guessed everyone had alot of fun so that was enough :D pig daidee was so stupid, but people got tricked so easily. tiff's one was classic though, kris dropped 4 levels thanks to her, haha! i'm so sorry xavier, my partner, for getting tricked by alex, but you did a good job of tricking cheryl in the end :) i think the guys are better at these kind of stuffs. yoshi managed to trick caiyue too!

seven plus one, i lovedear diary,
i think i'm finally feeling happy again. you know, that kind of happiness that comes straight out of your heart and it's so real you never want to let it go. a big thankyou to whoever out there who has been blessing me all this while. i have a sneaky suspicion it's God.
this was a rocky year, so i have no idea how life would have been without 7+1(+1), the latest addition being yingzhen! each of them actually means so much to me. anyway i guess my lucky number's 7. back then in sec 3 there were 7 girls in the first batch of cheer team as well. then we have 2 more guys, which makes it a total of 9. random information, ignore me.
i remembered the last time i felt so truly happy, til the whole world came crashing down. it stopped right after i lost my friendship with nat. then for 2 years my life seemed like a blur, i didnt really like the way i was living my life, as though i couldnt give a damn about how others really thought of me, but i couldnt show it. i was confident, yes i was, but perhaps abit over the board. we thought we were good (we still think so though, i think we can never get rid of that :D) others liked me for who i was, but i think i never really liked myself then.
im thankful for feb 15, or whichever day ahead when we got hurt so bad we finally woke up. i dont know how mira and tiff felt, but for me, it was as though someone else had been living their life through me, and the friendships ceased to exist. i used to look at life in an optimistic way, but someone would always push me to the other side and force me to take up a cynical view on life. i dont think i was a good friend to my friends even though we claimed to be so close. i had choices but i chose otherwise, and i carried on despite knowing it was wrong.
tiff talked about what being a friend means to her. somewhat, i think both our definitions fit. i once thought that being a friend means accepting the person for who he/she is, flaws included. but we've grown so accustomed to siding her against others with a simple 'she's like that, we cannot help it' regardless of whatever has happened. if the friendship was reciprocated, then maybe we wouldnt feel so sore now. now it just feels like you've been slapped in the face by someone you tried to defend in the first place.
friends respect one another. i never really think that joanne respected me. i was a friend, i acted like one, we all did. many a time i've gone almost crazy arguing with her about the most mindless things ever, then wondering why i still stand by a friend like that. all my friends, every single one around me, she never respected them - almeric, oliver, nat, xavier, yin wei, or even yoshi. people who have never offended her in anyway and still think of her in a nice manner because i dont wish to tell them what she said about them. i dont think being a friend includes dedicating numerous posts on your blogs swearing and cursing at your supposed best friend, backstabbing/bitching around behind the back, or saying things like fuck-your-mom. i felt disgusted on feb 15 when she cried and claimed that eunice was dragged in because of her, and we were insulting her friend. that was real rich coming from her, i cannot even count how many times she has insulted my friends. yet we were not like her, we had our own reasons to be upset at eunice. i was your friend joanne, but you were never mine. now i'm just happy never to be associated with you ever again. even the mention of your name disgusts me.
then there were another 2. honestly i regretted such a thing had to happen between us because at least they had proper views towards friendships. but it couldnt have happened in any other way and i had my own reasons, so all i could say is it was good while it lasted.
ventures was wonderful. it took my mind off things, and now i've got a new good friend, shaun goh :) i think it'll a cca that we'll continue to enjoy til the end of next year. heres to a better life (:

i love pictures. i smile when i see them because they remind me of such good memories sometimes :D trng was half killer yesterday but still i thought it was fanfuckingtastic. i'm serious. it's been ages since we had trng where everyone had loads of fun and there were no bad feelings between any of us. this is the team that i love. i'm aching like goodness-knows-what now.
tuesday was shopping with cheryl & shaun and the supposed ventures outing was cancelled in the end. weiting joined us later though, at gap, then we left for bugis. i think shaun only tries on cardigans because he knows he looks good in them thus i cant say he looks bad. damn thats unfair >:( i will not shop with him unless im wearing heels, haha!
and perhaps because of the overdose of desserts (ice kachang, chendol, bubor hitam and chengteng) i had a mild stomachache last night. the dessert aunty was scary shhh. she glared at us cos we told her we didnt order the honeydew sago? by the way if you want to annoy a friend, you can try throwing tic tacs into their food, haha. original flavor will do fine.
wednesday was lunch @ vivo with shaun before cheer trng. we both got yummy milk, yay. STRAWBERRY YOGHURT I LOVE<333 kubu shall have his chocolate malt!
out with cheryl yoshi and mira today. it's been agessss since i've been out with mira, but i had alot of fun smacking her aching butt. i couldnt even straighten my arms today >:( but its okay i sense the muscles building (: HAHA I WILL BE STRONG THIS IS GOOD. we were at lot one because i was too lazy to go anywhere else so the rest compromised. thankyou sweeties! :D noodles from hongkong cafe + yami yoghurt + shakerfries + apple dippers = yummy! we watched fantastic four too, chris evans is too hot mmm...

three cheers for group camp because it turned out to be a fun affair. thankyou chinhao & derrick for going without knowing much about it. we all got a pleasant (i hope?) surprise on uniform day :D
the first day was at ubin & we all referred to the water as 'disgusting water' even with puritabs inside it. horribly disgusting >:( i was at a total loss of how to tie knots & to pitch tents from sticks & groundsheets but it was great learning all those in the end. HAHA I WILL TOTALLY OWN YOU IN A JUNGLE NOW. sadly however there was a, ahem, tsunami so our tent died, so we declared that we would just sleep on the ground and let the raindrops spatter on us :) we still tied ours to the trees at night in the end anyway.
walking around the island/trekking around to find captain emo was funny, we saw him halfway back at the shelter haha when we were half lost. our last station was only 200m away but my group, consisting of me chinhao minqi yubin & david, probably walked around 2-3k looking for it. it was so stupid & went something like this.
SOMEONE: oh i think it's the right let's walk there.
(we walk towards the right)
SOMEONE NO.2: no wait i think its the left, see we can't find anyone here!
(we turn back and walk in the reverse direction)
SOMEONE NO.3: i think it isnt here. lets go right again and walk more.
(we walk right again)
AND THIS HAPPENED 5+ TIMES HAHA.
dinner without mess tins and utensils! grace's grp put choc chips on apples so they had fondue! :D how creative haha. we cooked bamboo rice but i made do with just corns. no sleep at night because we walked the whooooooooole night carrying everything. the disgustingwater container leaked so half of my body was wet. i walked the wrong way for night trail (the dogs were more scary than anything) so eka waited 45mins for me instead AND OMGOMGOMG ME & SHANHONG HEARD MALAY ORCHESTRAL MUSIC. i applaud myself for not collapsing and dying halfway :)
dragon boating on the 2nd day then camp christine@lim chu kang. amazing race on the next day with jeremy the prettywife, weishan our AL, fabian&alastair&benjamin the scouts plussss all the superduperuber cute cubs. MACNUGGETS ARE ZE COOLEST OKAY. and i insist im the father, really! at first i was really afraid of the cub scouts because although they are only pri3-5, they actually curse more than i do and they talk soooo much. BUT THEYRE CUTE SO THATS ALL THAT MATTERS. i personally find si yuan (i call him chicken wing cos he tried to pretend to bite my arm haha!) and marshal (my cute nugget) the cutest but ahem, i shall not be biased.
if i had either of them as my brothers i'll just. feed them chocolates everyday! or nuggets. or pratas. si yuan looked so happy when we finally bought prata :D jeremy & i stupidly ate one whole piece ourselves without the curry :( but it's okay haha. plain prata owns anyday.
our tents for campchristine were so wonderfully huuuuuuuuge and stable but too bad we slept 6 hours tops. OH I GOT HIGHEST FOR WORLD SCOUT BADGE TEST HAHAHAHA (so i got a book with shaun's illegible handwriting) ironically the title was 'scouting for BOYS' hmm. can you believe it we squeezed in studying for the test, interviews, elections, sewing, taking the test all into 2 nights. this explains the lack of sleep. mervyn was so shagged he fell asleep taking the test haha :) i had alot of fun rubbing on the snake powder he brought in between stuffs. i think that guy will die without it or something.
break camp @ SAJS on monday, i fell asleep during debrief i am sincerely sorry :( chilled at potong pasir macs afterwards with chinhao derrick shaun & mervyn then i saw someone and went 'OHSHIT' almost immediately. of all conditions, i've mentioned, it seemed like a bad one. we argued for a loooooooooong time there (but i still got my shakerfries so i was happy!) then left separately for home. i guess this sums up group camp. i think it was great, i made awesome friends that i couldnt possibly find in our school because of the culture. so hurrays for me & grace who joined ventures, it was a good turning point somehow.

i am so confused.
why do you deny your existence when both you and i know you were there. it was such a stupid lie to make. i seriously wonder what goes through your head, i get curious to know what you think sometimes.
but friendship is another wonderful thing. i feel happy making new friends, and even happier making good ones. or getting back the lost friendship with nat. building new ones with the ventures people. getting close to the 7+1+1 gang. i think i feel like a sec 3 all over again.

so it was pool thrice last week, first with cheryl nat & shaun, second with nat & kegan, third with grace mervyn nicholas & yuan zheng (sp?). details & pictures in next post because im so absolutely shagged right now. legs&paddles results are not out yet, i figured that we must be either 3rd, 4th or 5th. hurrays.
camp was fun but of course tiring, & i earned myself a wife during the amazing race on the third day. i have a good wife, hm. she buys me (and others) twisties. the nuggets are way too cute, and one of them just msg-ed me today though i highly doubt that it's baharath. i met someone at potong pasir macs, i looked away and he walked away, so i am rather upset now. of all people to meet right after a camp, in the most unglam (read: BURNT&CHAOTA) condition ever. i am not coherent i realise. the after-effects of showering only twice during a four day camp, and sleeping only once for 5 hours. im sure the rovers and v2s had it worse so i shant complain. i'll post more later, sweets.
