BENJAMIN IS A WHINY FREAAAAK!
hellooooooo allllllll. Yay i've finally decided to visit blogger, hip hip hurray. Jolly golly it rhymes :O (Well don't mind me, i'm in a hyper mood)
Day before sports day, we stayed back a teeny bit later than usual til 9. James (EX-MAGNUM FORCE COACH AND CHEERLEADER, and probably the most qualified coach in Singapore) came to review our routine and we bought him a blackforest cake to celebrate his (very) belated birthday! And that was of course, the last day MRT4 bought bubbletea at sweettalk together ):
TUESDAY WAS D-DAY, and we won :D i'm talking about cheerleading competition, of course. It would have been a perfect routine, if not for certain people who messed it up. I requested to test the song, but was dismissed off with a 'there's no need for it'. See, another wonderful example of our school's un-professionalism.
faraday was champions overall, congratulations to them. WE WERE SECOND HAHA. once again we managed to amaze ourselves with such results depsite being such a small house. (wait, ohmahgawd-i-sound-like-a-roy) our juniors were fantastic, though (: and because of the management's error, we had approx. 20 lesser pple than other houses, AND I HAD TO RUN 4by100. i mean, eugenia and sprinting just doesnt look like they belong in the same sentence.
but us, the shittyteamofnonsprinters, got 6th for 4by100 so i suppose its good enough. aiwei tiff me jungxuan got third for 4by400 (yay medal yay), and i rmbred dominique junior ran the last 100m with me, which kinda helped too. But it was a bad run for me though, the first straight felt like jogging speed but i refused to speed up cos i was afraid i couldn't last.
oh, GRACE CAME TOO!!! & about cheerleading- nobel was first, and they did mostly dancing.. and an elevator+pop cradle at the end. which isn't bad i suppose since they only learnt it on saturday. then we were second to perform AND YOU CAN SEE OUR VIDEO BELOWWWW :D
and all these wouldnt have been possible without our coach, JAMES NG CHENG KOON. thanks for teaching us the dance routine (of which, you're the original choreographer), cool stunts, and basically everything that has to do with cheerleading, on top of being a great friend to talk to.
AND THANKS TO THE FOLLOWING TEAM MEMBERS WHO HAVE ENDURED ALL MY YELLING ETC AND HELPED WITH THE ROUTINE: flyers >> aiwei, sharlene, yujia, angela 2nd bases >> joanne, eunice, mirabella, tiffany, carissa, karyen, yuting bases >> theophilus, altron, benjamin, joshua ong, gabriel, bryan
yeah i'm not gonna turn all draggy cos the friggin post is long enoughh.
fleming was third to perform, and imo, they were more of the american cheerleading type, which was cool anyway. faraday was last to perform and they used a hiphoppy song, danced, and stunted a bit. er, not being egoistical or anything, but results were quite obvious after all 4 performances.
ANYWAY. BASICALLY EVERYONE WAS BEING SUPERHYPER AFTER FULL LIBS COS THAT WAS THE MOST CHALLENGING STUNT :D travelling hitch didnt go up as nicely as it did during practices, but at least she stayed. 4-2-1, was of course, no challenge cos we had been getting 100% success rates. AND THE TOSS WAS HIGH HIGH HIGH (even though the guys probably didnt use 100% strength)
celebration was at pastamania at cineleisure (again :D) and we had fun :D took neos with yujia sharl angie altron and jo afterwards. cabbed back afterwards.
screw you all who think that we dont know anything about cheerleading and all we do is shake our TINY asses around because one thing is for sure, i've got a huuuuge butt. (not that i like it.)
