AND THEN I'D SAY TO YOU
WE COULD TAKE TO THE HIGHWAY!so it was bakerzin's on the 28th with the 7 gang (yes, again!) @ vivo, nydc@holland v on the 2nd with the girls plus zhen (where we had yummy dessert and of course, potato salad!), gas haus @ bugis last sunday for andre & oliver's gig, and then prata just now at The Cheese Prata shop.
i think it's too much of a sin to enjoy food so much.
we forgot that we actually wanted to become skinnier.
the word diet doesnt appear in my dictionary, apparently.
but the gig was fun, except for the fact that we were the ONLY chinese, and everyone else was wearing black band-shirts with skinny jeans and a leather belt. which was quite a cool style, in fact. clement actually suggested playing cards there and it was hilarious. the rest of the people were rather enthusiastic (which was good) and kept moshing around. i couldnt stop gaping at the guy in a skirt.
so congratulations to andre oliver georgina and john (their drummer?) for your 2nd successful gig.
we actually had quite a bit of time afterwards. ate at pastamania and me tiff lawrence oliver did stupid stuffs- the dare was really worth it, imo. town was quite boring, but we made do with spotting trannies arnd orchard towers, & then got scolded for caucasian for trying to steal his taxi.
speaking of which, that day we returned from vivo, we took a maxicab! and it was really comfortable and non-expensive :D great for the food outings haha.
i promise pictures the next time.
tatas.
[edit]oh yeah, i almost forgot- we went to jack's place on thursday to celebrate grace's COP (certificate of participation!) and it was pretty fun cos of the salt+pepper pranks!
congrats to engaged too! for having won a bronze prize for his cyanobacteria project in the same fair :D [/edit]
