bbq&fright night was fun! haha even though we have a rather pathetic count of v1s this year but i think the v2s and v3s are really nice to us! plus xinting's joining us for group camp too! :D i must have 40+ bites all over me now, and i stopped counting. i neeeeeeed aircon somebody hear me now I NEEEED AIRCON SOSOSOSO BADLY but the hostel aint got it >:(
yesterday i actually got to harbourfront early because SOMEONE (ahem!) wantsa study but in the end we didnt get anything done. went to The Carribean for bbq, the condo's really pretty! the pool makes me feel like jumping in just at one glance. talked, played cards, wink murderer & pulse murderer! and they were just anyhow killing people even though they werent the murderer haha. the pulse one was cool but i still dont get how the murderer can be found this way! then shanhong tried to tell us the story of the widow at tangvillage but it was rather funny cos he was smiling while telling the story and seemed like he was reciting a poem instead. so we didnt get scared in the end haha.
when we first got to tang village i was actually pretty scared. i mean, the fact that it was 1am-3am+ at a supposedly haunted place with pop up pictures on the wall, figurines, burnt houses and squeaky floors with big holes in them wasnt exactly comforting. i was inside town with mervyn and gst, while grace & nicholas were outside town. and it's bad too when your eyesight gets better while your eyes adjusts to the darkness. Sometimes, some things are left better unseen.
anyway, i told the two guys to stand next to me, and to remind me to run if we see something that er, we werent supposed to see. they told me not to scream cos if i did, they'll probably scream too haha. en route to the pond area we saw pictures pasted onto trees so we shone the torchlight on it thinking it might be a clue. i think it went like this:
gnia: ey whats that? is it a clue.
mervyn: dont know. let's see.
*shines light on picture*
me? (&prob mervyn): OMGSHIT.
*look away immediately*
then we all agreed not to look any pictures no matter what! because it kinda freaked us out. anyway it was a picture of a girl with distorted features. after the pond we went to the YingShuaDian, WHICH WE THOUGHT WAS A COFFIN SHOP AT FIRST HAHA. the article about paris hilton & lindsay lohan brought us to the magistrate's house, where we took quite a while to discover our next clue. at first we didnt really dare to go up to the 2nd level, but we did so in the end. mervyn was really nice so we held hands when we climbed the steps with gst covering our back (ohman a 15yr old is more daring than me! AND PLEASE DONT THINK OF OTHER THINGS!) there was the part where they first shone the light at the ceiling where i saw a red cloth hanging & i was trying to figure out if that was a clue. then i looked down and saw a rough image of a stool and red shoes next to it so for a moment i got pretty scared i was like DAMMIT LETS GET OUTTA HERE. but we realised the shoes were rather new so yeah :D
we passed by a figurine while walking through a door. gst was the first to see it, then me then mervyn. almost in succession we were like 'WAHLAO!', 'OMG', and 'OHMAN' when we saw it. shaun & liz tried to hide somewhere to scare us but we found them instead! i think i only screamed once? when shamir threw the figurine head at us then tzewei & grace screamed so i screamed into mervyn's ear haha. then we had to play the bad guys when we told everyone else that we left mervyn behind somewhere when in fact shamir&us hid him somewhere. everyone was really scared/anxious cos we couldnt find him no matter what. i guess i would be too, if i didnt know the truth myself. Mervyn later walked out by himself lamenting that the mosquitoes can even bite through his pants to the relief of everyone haha.
breakfast & debrief at macs then homesweethome, we were so shagged man.
i guess that'll be all, haha. group camp will be soon, hurrays :D please go for it alright! alfred promised us ben&jerry's yay.
PS: there's the minipool thing that we can wade through on top of vivo, but please be reminded not to bring friends who would throw your slippers around along. we went there after alex's pre-birthday celebration and they threw our stuffs around in the water! :( :( :(
